Role: Designer

This project was features a mix of techniques including photo collage, illustration, and typesetting. The basis for the design was inspired by a chosen emotion, in my case I went with agony. I wanted to push the idea of what agony is and how it can appear both internally and externally. The work features a base of two color-corrected royalty free images of two busts of Medusa, as well as photos of ball pythons (my favorite snakes) to give more dimension to the snake hair. I chose the Medusa symbolism as it is a symbol of strength for those who have experienced sexual violence, drawn from the story of Medusa. To construct the left side of the bust,
